I wonder how many people are truly depressed on Valentines day. Depressed about the bill they are going to recieve after their romantic dinner with that special someone. Depressed about having lost someone or the fact that they don’t have and may be have never had a “special” someone.
Everyday I get reminded about how important communication is, and I feel today that is especially important. All I’m asking is not that you love on everyone you see today, but that you somehow show them how much you appreciate them as a boss, a parent, an employee, a teacher, a friend, a lover, and yes even show your enemies your appreciation. You just never know what someone is going through today. Some people are heartbroken, and by showing them a tiny bit of appreciation even if it seems like they don’t appreciate your gesture, deep inside you left an impression on them and whether they like it or not it could help someone get through the day.
Telling someone what is on your heart won’t kill you, but thinking about how badly you want to tell someone something all the time will definitely hurt you. Have courage and just say it!

Black History Month:
Oh Valentines Day! Today I decided to honor a couple who has been together 29 years, and in the industry that they are in that is a long time. So today I will honor Denzel Washington, an obviously incredible actor, and his beautiful wife Pauletta Pearson Washington. This beautiful couple, who have four children together, married on 25 June 1983 and I want to wish them many more years of happiness with each other!
